The European Union is Canada’s second largest trading partner after the United States. The EU Single Market stimulates trade and competition by allowing goods and services, people and capital to circulate freely within the entire territory of the EU, a domestic market of almost 448 million people. The seminars are open to business leaders in all provinces and territories who may be interested in diversifying their markets, across several sectors and industries, and will expand on the functioning mechanisms of the EU institutions governing trade, the EU internal Single Market and trade opportunities that the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) present to Canadian businesses.
